The agogwe is described as a hairy man-ape creature standing between 6 and 8 feet in height. It is covered in shaggy hair of a light color. It has dark skin and a round head. It has a wide forehead, a wrinkled face, reddish eyes set wide apart, and arms that hang to the knees.
